Resolved Buyers money is on hold by PAYPAL and he is calling us fraud (already refunded 305 out of 311 )

    Why the feedback is invalid?

    This Buyer is impatient and manipulative. HE IS MAKING UP LIES BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR A STANDARD DELAY CAUSED BY A THIRD PARTY. He has already been refunded $305 out of $311 and only $6 are pending because of PayPal hold. His entire feedback is a lie-

    • He is saying we did not refund him; which is FALSE, he has been partially refunded and only $6 are remaining [Image-1].
    • He is saying we are ignoring him; which is FALSE because we have already responded to him with every update [Image-2].

    The Situation

    - Buyer sent us payment on PayPal and that payment got our PayPal account suspended and the funds went into hold
    - 'Payment on hold' is like a 'Post-dated check' in which you are the FINAL recipient, but the money is only made available on a fixed date. Until that FUTURE date, the bank has full authority over the funds (in this case, it is PayPal)
    - Since we do not have any claim over the disputed funds right now, WE DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO REFUND THE ENTIRE MONEY YET.
    - We have already partially refunded him using his old transactions (for services that were already delivered before) just to make sure he can get as much portion of the refund as possible without any delay
    - We are waiting for the original disputed payment to be released so we can refund his remaining $6, WHEN WE HAVE THAT OPTION AVAILABLE.​

    The Solution

    As mentioned to the Buyer many times, when the hold will be lifted and the funds are released to us, we will refund the remaining $6. He needs to wait until we have that option available for the rest of the funds (ALREADY GOT HIS $305 out of $311)!

    Who is at fault here and why?

    PAYPAL!!! They are the ones that have got authority over the payment he sent to us. We do not have the claim over it right now. When they give us that claim by releasing the payment, we will refund his remaining $6.

    Any alternative solution?

    The Buyer has been threatening and pressurizing from the beginning about a procedure that is not in our control (PayPal). Now he is making up lies and SPAMMING with multiple false feedbacks to seek some attention, which clearly shows he is not trustworthy. HIS DISPUTED FUNDS HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN RELEASED TO US YET, those are at hold by PayPal. If we refund him somewhere else, he can dispute the payment afterwards and then scam us in return.

    Even banks do not release funds before the dispute is final and over. We are not giving an untrustworthy, unprofessional and impatient person funds from our pocket WHEN HIS FUNDS ARE ON HOLD BY A THIRD-PARTY, so he can later scam us by disputing the payment there.​

    While our dispute team was writing this post, our finance team already refunded his remaining $6 today. Now he OWE us RUB 89.2!!!
