A buyer asks for my PlayerUp account e-mail

    I have a seller listing with an already generated Middleman listing in the thread. Somebody acting as a buyer asks for my PlayerUp account e-mail, with the purpose "to have a middleman verify the thread purchasing".

    I'm a bit suspicious about that. The FAQ states "Never release any information, ... unless this username @middleman contacts you ..." Does that cover just the game account I'm selling or literally "any" information, including my PlayerUp account?

    Sounds like a scam for sure and I am investigating this.

    Sorry for the wait. I have confirmed the user @Venuzofmars is a scammer baiting users offsite to try to create fake middleman scams. We have closed their PlayerUp Account. We appreciate you reporting this.
